2010 Golf Registration Flyer!

Hello Bruin Fans!!! After ending a great season on top by winning the National Championship!!! It is time for our annual golf tournament. This year the tournament will not only serve as our number 1 fundraiser, but also as a celebration of the teams outstanding accomplishment!!! Please do your part to help UCLA Softball remain a dominant force in NCAA Division 1 softball, by coming out to the tournament and supporting the team!

WHEN: September 20, 2010

WHERE: Sea Cliff Country Club Huntington Beach

Time: Shotgun 12pm

Dinner  and cocktails will follow the tournament. There will be a live and silent auction, raffle prizes, and tons of fun!

Hey Everyone,

Now that Golf tournament has finally wrapped up. We wanted to keep you informed on some other UCLA

softball details.

On November 1st we will be holding our Alumae Game and Clinic

The clinic will begin at 9am to register please visit www.uclacamps.com

Game time will be at 1:30pm and is Free

Following the game will be a social for the Alumni and their guests.

Putting contest will begin right after registration and end at 1130am

-Shot gun is at 12pm

-We will have the longest drive, closest to the pin, and hole in one contest

- At the banquet, we will have a wheel of golf game, opportunity drawling, raffle, silent and live auctions!

ALONG WITH MUCH MORE!!

Check In Time: 10:30 am to 11:30

Putting Contest: 11 to 11:45 am

Tee time: 12 pm shotgun

Drinks and silent auction begins at the end of play

Dinner starts at 6pm

Live Auction starts immediately after dinner.

-We will be playing a modified shotgun. After selecting the best drive, each player plays their own ball

to the hole to score

-Bogey will be your friend so you can pick up once your score is below or equals a bogey and need not

continue play. Using this format we envision play will be faster and groups should be returning to the

clubhouse within four to five hours.

-This year we are fortunate to have our dear friend Ed Arnold (former television commentator) emcee the

program.

-Former Bruin, Olympian and now practicing physcian Dot Richardson will be in attendance to help with

the auction along with Jeff Knox(Baseball Radio Broadcaster for the Pensicola Penguins…and former

Bruin announcer).

-Raffle prizes will be randomly drawn throughout the silent auction and dinner proceeding and posted on a

bulletin board for pick up if winners are not readily available. MAKE SURE TO CHECK THE BOARD

Hello Bruin Fans!!! The 4th annual golf tournament is fast approaching. Don’t forget to register before

August 1st to qualify for the early bird special—‐$100 dollars off a foursome!!!!!!!! There is plenty of

room for golfers. We are also still looking for tournament sponsors, hole sponsors and auction items.

September 21st 2009 is at 10am. We are excited to announce that Bruin Olympians, Amanda Freed, Lisa

Fernandez, Natasha Watley, Christie Ambrosi, and Andrea Duran will be in attendance at this year’s

event!!!! Natasha Watley and Andrea Duran just came off two tournament wins at the Canada Cup,

where Natasha was named MVP, and the World Cup with Team USA where they went undefeated against

the world’s top teams. Keep checking the website for updated Sponsorship levels and this year’s auction
